Design has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember, from rearranging my childhood bedroom to touring open houses just so I could study every detail inside. That passion led me to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from Murray State University.
After also earning a degree in accounting and building a career in Nashville, I realized my heart had never left design. In 2026, I took a leap of faith, left corporate life behind, and founded Shelby Lauren Interiors, bringing together creativity, purpose, and a lifelong love for creating beautiful, meaningful spaces.

For clients seeking a curated look that does not involve construction.
We provide furniture selection and layouts, lighting, wallpaper, textiles, and accessories to make your space feel complete.

For clients who want a complete visualization of their space or project before construction begins.
The process starts with clients submitting inspiration, floorplans, and any goals they have for the space. SLI then develops a plan that fits their individual needs and style.
Next, a 60-minute video call is scheduled where we walk through the design together and make any revisions in real-time.
The end result is a complete design package that can be handed off to a builder or contractor for execution whenever the client is ready.

For new builds, renovations, or large residential projects and starts before construction begins.
We provide space planning, floor plans and elevations, cabinetry design, and guidance on fixture and material selections. We come alongside the architect and builder to ensure the design is properly executed throughout the entire construction process.
